Cathay Pacific adds Zagreb codeshare

Friday, November 21, 2014

Cathay Pacific has begun codesharing on Qatar Airways flights to Zagreb. The airline has placed it “CX” code and flight number onto Qatar Airways’ service from Doha to the Croatian capital via Budapest and vice versa. The Qatar service to Zagreb carries a large number of tourists and business people from Far East Asia. Cathay Pacific is a member of the Oneworld alliance, as is its partner Qatar Airways. The service from Doha via Budapest operates four times per week and will decrease to three from December 21.

@Ex-Yu, could you please clarify is CX going to codeshare only on 3 flights via BUD, or on 4 weekly QR nonstops DOH-ZAG-DOH as well, starting Dec 21. It remains unclear in the text. Thanks!

Just an update, GDS now shows that QR/CX codeshare now applies to all ZAG flights.
